Create Your Own Event

Creating your own event is a creative and fun way you can support cancer research and the AACR. It gives you opportunity to use your talents to engage your donor network, and the public, to inspire them to get involved.

The AACR Foundation can assist you in the planning your event. Some examples of successful third-party events include:

  • Dance-a-thons
  • Bowling tournaments
  • Golf tournaments
  • Battles of the bands

Creating your own event enables you to tailor the experience to your interests and passions. This opens up a world of possibilities for you and your network, combining a fun, social activity with raising money for a lifesaving cause. So be creative and think big! The AACR Foundation will be there to support you as you go.

The Event Proposal* and Guidelines* documents will give you more information about creating your own event. Download the Create Your Own Event Toolkit* to help make your event a success.
